We got out on the river in our boat tonight, and got our first look at the Osprey nest upriver from the boat launch. It has an adult sitting on the nest, as does the one just downstream, which has been the case for the last couple of weeks or so.

There were lots of Great Blue Herons around (at least 5), but the main story of the night was the Red-winged Blackbirds harassing much larger birds.
