I ran down to this bridge over the Nashua River on the spur-of-the-moment in the hopes of seeing migrating Common Nighthawks. I wasn't disappointed. in the 45 minutes I was there, I must have seen nearly 100 of them in a steady stream of anywhere from 1 to 10 birds. All were feeding as they made their way south along the river.

Also seen were a large number of Cedar Waxwings and a Kingfisher was heard, but not seen.

The images are of poor quality due the the rapidly fading light and the speed and erratic flight patterns of the nighthawks. Very challenging photography.
