On a chilly and rainy day, NH Audubon Sacntuaries Manager Phil Brown led a tour of 10 ponds and lakes in the Monadnock region of southwestern New Hampshire in search of migrating waterfowl. Due to the conditions there weren't many photo ops. The major sigthing was of a small raft containing all 3 species of Scoters...two of which are life birds for me.
And the fall colors are still peak in that area.
