2001 Hand pieced and hand quilted.

I bought old three Japanse folk kimono (kasuri: cotton dyed with indigo) and undo them.
Width of Japanese kimono fablic is about 35 cm, I made strip and made mesh pattern.
The center pattern is our family crest (kamon 四方木瓜 in japanese).
