This is the second version of FD 35mm F2, has a concave front element and uses rare earth element, so it has now quite yellow-brownish cast.
The lens is very sharp even it's the second version and highly recommended, you do not have to search for an S.S.C. version. You can de-yellow
the lens with a UV lamp if you use films, when you use it with a digital SLR, camera's AWB takes care of it (ie. you do not have to de-yellow??)
When I use the slide film, scan them with Epson V700 and make .tiff file, then I develop TIFF files under Capture One Pro v5, and use WB
feature with this software. But I have not used too much this time, so the last section of this page with RDPIII has slightly yellowish cast.
