These street signs are found on many corners of the French Quarter. I would guess that all of the French Quarter Streets have these somewhere, they are usually on corner brick or masonry buildings. If all the streets have them, I'm missing one - Burgundy. I searched Burgundy from Esplanade to Iberville, and couldn't find one. I did not explore the one block from Canal to Iberville, so if there is one, that's where it is. French Market Place does not have any.
Under the photo, the street name is indicated as it was known under the Spanish → French → American.
Nice exhibit; when I traveled there in 1966 I remember these old signs although I my memory doesn't recall the explanation just the street name. Are these more recent than that?? Just wondering
