Scottish Rite Cathedral

The First Unitarian Church was originally located at 110 Franklin Street (that building still stands, now known as the Title Guaranty Building). In 1880, they moved into their new church on Delaware, between Huron and Mohawk, site of the present day New Era Cap Company in the former Federal Reserve Building. That church was named the Church of Our Father. That is the church pictured here.

In 1906, the Unitarians moved to their current church, at Elmwood and West Ferry. The Church of Our Father was sold to the Masons, who remodeled it into their Scottish Rite Cathedral, as pictured.

School 10 was located at 142 Delaware, and was built in 1885, closed in 1955, and subsequently demolished.
