Late on night in the Fall of 1968, walked out of the Tudor Lunge with my then girlfriend and passed a rather seedy looking character on his way in. A moment or two later he attempted to rob the place, shooting a guy I had playing pool with. In turn, he was killed by an off-duty Buffalo Police officer/bartender.
It was always an interesting place ....

Rod Roddy used to live in the apartment above the Tudor Lounge in 1967. The lounge had a very mixed crowd back then.

Jony James Blues Band still plays there Thursday and Sundays. By far the best blues band in WNY.
