In 1972, in the aftermath of the Attica Prison riot, vacations were again scheduled, and I was scheduled for my very first working-life vacation. I came from a family that didn't take vacations, Jennifer did, and she taught me the joys of travel. And she taught me that when a vacation ends, on the way home, start planning the next one, always have one in the works.
