Unitarian Universalist, W.Ferry & Elmwood, Buffalo, NY

In today's lexicon, the word "awesome" has been overused to the point of being meaningless. To reestablish it's meaning, visit this church. There is no other word for the woodwork. The church is larger than it looks, and therein lies its' charm. People-sized, and proportioned, an interior space conducive to contemplation and prayer has been created. A true gem in a city with a multitude of gems.

little known fact about UU: it was founded in Transylvania (Northern Romanian geographically, Hungarian culturally and linguistically today) in the 16th century. In Oakland visit the First Unitarian Church of Oakland with similair woodwork.
