64 Falcon Sprint 260

Ford introduced the 260 in the 1962 model year and was the base V8 in the full size sedans in 1963. That 260 was rated at 164hp. In mid 63, the 260 was offered in the Falcon, along with a Sprint version, putting out 260hp (pictured above).

The 260 was dropped after the 64 model year, being replaced by the 289.
