Being the largest city on Route 66 after leaving Chicago, St Louis was also the crossing point of the Mississippi River. As such, through the years there were many changes in the bridges used, and streets used to get to, through and around the metropolis. Mr. Sonderman does a great job of sorting it all out, with many illustrations, historical references, and explanations. In all, a very interesting read for the serious Route 66 student.
