Harley-Davidson Historic Route 66 Road Map

At first glance, this map looks busy and difficult to use. But take the time to understand it's layout, and it gets better with every viewing. You discover more and more useful information. It divides Route 66 into "five rides," as the map is intended for motorcyclists, and the five rides include decent maps, with Route 66 highlighted, and plenty of crossroads to keep you on track. It also provides turn by turn directions, and mileages to the tenth of a mile to keep you on course. Sights, lodging, and not surprisingly, Harley Davidson dealers enroute are also shown.

It is an easy fold map made of that plasticized paper that makes it waterproof and durable. It has a copyright date of 2006; is probably out of print, but shows up regularly on eBay and used book sites online. All in all, a good and useful map.
