Although titled Bird's Eye View From Niagara Street, it is actually a view of Pearl street, from Swan Street. The Dun Building is on the left margin, St. Paul's Cathedral is the second building down on the right, and the turreted building just past St. Paul's is the old Erie County Savings Bank. In the foreground is the Erie Savings and Loan Association; all of those low buildings have been demolished, and that little area is now a small park, and a parking lot for the Telephone Building.
