Hi Michael, The sport is Lacrosse, it was invented by American Indians several hundred years ago. The objective of the sport is to propel a hard rubber ball into a net (goal) protected by a goal keeper. The players carry sticks with a small net on the end. They carry the ball in this net and use the stick to propel the ball to other players or to propel the ball into the oponents goal. The sport has become very popular in the US in the past few years and is one of the fastest growing sports in America played by youths in high school and university. I liked your pictures. Keith
