Without doubt one of my favorite and coolest New Zealand birds, the Kea is very playful and is one of the most intelligent Parrots in the world. I could take photograph all day long, Endemic to the high mountain country of the South Island. Warning, If you leave your car or tent unattended it is not uncommon for Kea's to steal or remove parts form your car, like window wipers, hubcaps and even antennas. Definitely a must see bird.
