This sight was quarried for many years for Dinosaur bones to be sold to Museums. On October 4, 1915, 80-acres of fossil-rich land in Northeast Utah were set aside as Dinosaur National Monument to protect "an extraordinary deposit of Dinosaur remains of the Jurassic period.

My first look at the wall, an extraordinary sight, over 500 different fossils can be counted.

The is the boat launching point inside the Monument into the Green River. The Green flows through the monument and will, 250 miles downstream, join the Colorado River.
