This is obviously a lovely, very pretty little girl, but the processing effects are similar to those used for glamour / adult photos and I can't help but find this quite unsettling.
I'm from the UK and we have a different culture here to the US, for example we don't have child beauty pageants like you do, so maybe this is influencing how I feel about these photos.
I think she's pretty enough to be seen in her naturally beautiful state, just my personal opinion.

I think the softening really works well with these, but this particular shot I think needs color adjustment, although could just be my monitor.

I love these images, but some have just a little too much softening for my taste. I still can't look away from these beautiful eyes!
