23 yrs ago this weekend the Roost officially opened for bidness. This also happens to be Unc's birthday weekend (65th or 70th, it's hard to tell when ya look as old as he does!!)


I am going on Saturday morning May 24, coming back Sunday. Their party starts Friday but not going until Saturday.

I called and they said all beds in the bunkhouse are reserved. Tent sites still available. I dont know if they have suites or what but if your interested in that type of accomodations be my guest.
16 bucks per person ( per tent ). 6 bucks cover charge ( per person ) for the band they will have there that night.
Ive got a one man tent , so to each their own with this one !
I will get there early enough, set up camp then ride to Blowing Rock and look around !
Come back and may take a cold swim in the river.
Leaving McDonalds on Winston Road Lexington at 8 am. Only 85 miles to the campground.
