Go south on Parkway. Stop at Raps Orchards Gap and drink a cold ( one ) http://www.rapsorchardgap.com/
Go down Orchard Gap, to Ward Gap, Right on Epworth to Hwy 52 and have lunch at Hungry Farmer. http://www.virginia.org/Listings/Dining/HungryFarmerFamilyRestaurant/
Head 52 South back home.
For those that are not the best of motorcyclists who dont want to go down a steep and curvy Raps Orchard Gap road, may ride about 6 miles further south on the parkway and go down 52 South at Fancy Gap and get back with the group at Hungry Farmer.
For those who are in the Winston Salem area may jump in at that ( Circle K ??? ) Gas Station on Hwy 8 ( Germanton Road ) thats within sight of Hwy 52. Next to Days Inn hotel.
Im keeping my eyes glued to Sundays forecast. If the rain chance increases above 40 percent and /or rain "appears" imminent in the forecast I will BAIL OUT and post here, so check at the last minute. Rain doesnt make me melt but I refuse to do mountain riding in the rain.
