Judging by the amount of blur of the pedestrians... I would say longer than an eighth... but definately not more than 1 second. Looks like a jellyfish!

Dear Kim,
My husband and I are having an on-going debate about how (spectacular) fireworks shots like this one are taken. Would it be revealing a "trade secret" to tell an amateur like myself how you shot this scene? I'd appreciate being able to settle the issue once and for all! LOL! I loved your gallery!
