Hi Kim,
Really enjoyed your site. I was stationed there while in the air force back in 1958-59. My wife and I lived around the corner from this location in a rooming house at 26W Third Street. I see that this is the intersection of Lake Ave and Second Street. We would hear the bells in the steeper sounding every quarter hour (as I remember). My wife would sit in the window and watch the children play in the playground next to the school. Thanks for the memories. Howard
