13km across the longest bridge over ice covered waters - not that there was ice this day.
We took the opportunity to walk across the bridge from New Brunswick to Prince Edward Island and raise some funds for the Terry Fox Foundation for Cancer Research.
It rained so hard at some points that I was drinking the water that ran down my face!! And then we missed the last scheduled bus shuttle back to New Brunswick. Luckily we looked so much like drowned rats that when we finally caught a regular shuttle, they took us directly to the parking lot (5miles from the regular dropoff).
