October 3 & 4 - 8 judges poked and prodded at 86 cats from around the Maritimes and as far away as Ontario (can you imagine driving to Ontario with your cat???)
Clancy had a nervous breakdown (screech, hiss, claw, grrrrr) at the end of the first day and I decided to let him officially retire from the show circuit instead of enduring a 2nd day of judging. He spent the day tucked away in his kitty cube, but was still admired by passersby.
Finn, once again, was outshone by older, chunkier cats, but he did manage a 4th best cat in 1 ring (where he BEAT Miss Abigail!!!!). I'm looking forward to next year when he will be mature (in body if not mind) and have his full colouring that he's currently losing points on. And Finn seems to like the shows - lots of attention is right up his alley!!!
Day 1 - Finn's first judging
Clancy's first judging of day 1
Clancy's 2nd judging on Day 1 - does he look like he's having fun??
Finn and Ptraci (Tracy) - on day 2 they were judged equally against each other
Clancy's 3rd judging - this would be his last!!!
Day 2 - Finn's first judging
Finn & Ptraci
Finn's 2nd judging of day 2
Finn's 3rd judging on day 3
HEY - she liked me!! His first Best Champion ribbon!!
