I knew this place existed, but I didn't realize that the scenery would be so diverse. Sparse granite mountains, lakes, tree-covered mountains, beaches, quaint fishing villages, and the Tablelands (where the earth burped when continental plates crashed together) make this place amazing. We saw more moose than we could count, and hiked up hills I'd rather not remember. But it was an incredible place and I'd go back in a minute!!
