This small island is privately owned by a couple from Deer Isle, Maine - you can see their website at www.ourmaineisland.com The abundance of marine life, and the variety of it, makes it the dive of a lifetime - and fantastic for underwater photography.
We've now outlived this island--or it's outlived us. In any case, Karen and I have decided to sell Casco Bay Island. We moved away from Deer Isle, Maine about four years ago, to another end of the road--Key West. Summering on the island and wintering in the Keys seemed like a pretty good deal--and it was.
But now we've reached a point where we're tired of "moving" twice a year. Since I couldn't live in Key West during the summer and Karen can't stand the long, dreary winters in New England, we're "consolidating"--planning to build a home in the mountains just west of Denver.
So Casco Bay is for sale. If you're interested in knowing more, check out www.cascobayisland.com or www.isle4sale.com. Either will get you to the same place.

How fun to see the world under the water around our island. Thanks for memorializing another magical aspect of Casco Bay Island. Feel free to link to our website for folks who may be interested in learning more about the island where the world underwater is as fabulous as the more visible land, sea and sky. www.ourmaineisland.com
Be sure to drop by the house if you come visiting again.
