Finally, I understand how to use the "Macro" on my lens...
This shot is the first time I use the Macro since I have my camera.

Canon EOS 350D ,Canon EF-S 17-85mm f/4-5.6 IS
1/125s f/5.6 at 85.0mm iso400 full exif

Nice choice of focal point, like the way it isolates the ridge, the background almost makes this look like a beach scene.
