Routemaster 38


I have travelled on that bus almost every day for the last 2 years and a half.
It is now going to be replaced by new modern boring busses in the end of October 2005.
I will miss it.

Lovely shots Kim. I regret not taking routemaster photos. I miss them so much.... and I hate the bendy bus.

I'm so glad I could find your galleries, it was just by chance...Maybe chance has a role in our life. This one really captured my attention. It fills me with sweet nostalgia. I will miss old double-deckers so much too.
I like your style, your way to use details to tell a story, to transmit a feeling.
Excellent work, it speaks to eyes, to heart, to memory.

J'ai adoré parcourir cette galerie, Kim. Tant de formes, d'émotions, de points de vue différents sur ce sujet en apparence simple... Mais le transport est au coeur de nos vies, alors...
Dommage qu'on renonce à ces vieux bus, ils étaient superbes (je ne les ai jamais vus en vrais, mais je les vois ici!)
