We spent a week on the Peter Hughes "Sun Dancer II" live-aboard in July, 2009. We spent 5 days on Lighthouse Reef diving sites on Long Key and Half Moon Key, and the last morning diving on Turneffe Island. The reef is very healthy here as evidenced by an abundance of large sponges and corals. There are some fantastic wall dives on Long Key, while Half Moon Key offers more opportunities for seeing sharks, large rays, etc. The visibility here is fair (similar to Roatan) with a good bit of particulate in the water on most sites. The Sundancer is a very nice and relatively spacious boat, and the crew is simply outstanding. We had a full complement of 20 divers on board -- we got along really well and had a great time getting to know everyone between dives.
