Hi Leopold. I love this camera and use it mostly for B&W. I made the mistake of selling the first one I had but was lucky enough to snag an R-D1s a year later. I'm still trying to get the hang of focusing with the rangefinder. I wear glasses so sometimes this is difficult for me in low light. Nonetheless, the camera is great and you'd never know printed images were from a 6mp camera!

Hi, My name is Leopold,
I just purchased this identical package and am honeymooning with it. (the camera that is)
I have shot a few dozen pictures, B&W and color. (B&W 's are so awesome that I can't believe that I took them)
This a poor mans Leica in all ways but the quality is so hard to distinguish unless you are avery critical reviewer.
In some cases this camera and several of the CV line up have proven to offer more positive review than those from Leica. Not that it matters. The pocket book is much happier as well as the mind, but mostly the results are super.
Thanks for the nice pictures and allowing this comment.
Leopold.
PS, My SLR system is the Panasonic/Leica L-1 and also have the Leica 50mm f1.4 Awesome combo
