Lin An-tai Historical House & Museum

In 1754, the ancient of Lin family left their home town from Anxi County of Fujian Province to Taipei. After the accumulation of wealth in several decades, the first phase of Lin An Tai Historical House was built in 1783 – 1785. The name “Lin An Tai” means “Lin” is their family name, “An” is to commemorate their home town “Anxi Country”, “Tai” is a part of their company “Rong Tai Company”.

After a series of restoration, the Lain An Tai Historical House & Museum was opened for public in May 2020.
