The park was developed from 1993 to 2008. The park is just located immediate next to Runway 14R/32L of Itami Airport.
It was built for the purpose of mitigating the noise from runways of airport. The length of park is round 2000 metres and the width is 80 metres.
The Itami Sky Park is not just a playground for children, but also a great place for plane spotting.
