Sumida Aquarium was opened on 22nd May 2012. It is located at fifth and sixth floor of Tokyo Skytree East Tower. There are over 400 species of aquatic animal in the aquarium. Unlike the other museum, the collection of Sumida Aquarium is not only marine animals, but also goldfishes and Penguins. The Sumida Aquarium uses artificial seawater instead of real seawater for the other aquarium. The advantage is to reduce the emission of carbon dioxide. No doubt that the rainy day was not suitable for sightseeing on Tokyo Skytree, so the indoor aquarium was selected for visiting.
