This is the first time of me to visit the outlying island of Taiwan. As affected by fog, I cannot on time to arrive Kinmen and waited in Sung Shan Airport for 45 minutes. I would like to take this opportunity to thank for the Captain of Mandarin Airlines AE 1261 for his brave and expertise. In several minutes before landing, the airplane was still passed through the cloud and fog. In my estimation, the cloud base was just over 200 feet.

In the perception of many people, Kinmen is a military base of Taiwan. However, the economy of Kinmen is based on tourism. In fact, there are over 30 flights to Kinmen from different airports of Taiwan in everyday. No doubt that Kinmen is a tourist friendly place. Besides the historical heritages, we could visit many military related sites. At last, I would like to salute to the members of Visitor Information Centre. All of them gave me a memorable experience in this one day tour.
