This deer is giving birth (in this picture!) It's not a great shot of the event, but it is the reason she stood still long enough for me to get this shot. Take a closer look at her abdomen - notice how high her back is arched and if you look really hard (and use your imagination) behind where the tallest blade of grass is blocking (dammit!) you can see the baby poking out. Kinda gross and neat at once!
