Thanks Scott. I totally agree about the contrast etc. This was posted last year before I had begun to experiment with Photoshop in any way other than to crop and size. Since then, I've been working more and more in it and I think the new photos reflect a more professional final appearance (I still have a long way to go I'm afraid). I will try to remember to find this original in my archives and play with it. I agree, it's a sweet shot that could use a little work. Thank you so much for taking the time to critique. :O) KHT

i do think that this shot could really use what i call a "portrait burn" (darkening the edges with a soft feather not so much that you really notice, but enough to bring you into the photograph).
i would also like to see this a bit larger... it is a shame that it is so small.
