16th April 2003 to 17th April 2003An anticlimax compared to the view from Poon hill, but never the less a great hike back to civilization. Even though our hike from Ghorepani to Ghandruk meant a 13 hour hike (including the 4am start, we didn't get to Ghandruk until 5pm) it was still my most memorable and most sore one (pretty much all downhill). The morning view in Ghandruk is also quite nice with the mountains in the background. A pity we where heading back, but there were views of Fishtail Mountain most of the way back.
