The beautiful Cathedral Cove (Maori name is Te Whanganui A Hei) is located in the Coramandel Peninsula and only takes a 30 minute walk from the car park near Hahei. It's relative seclusion makes the amazing archway and rock formations all that much more spectacular.Whist Hot Water Beach near Hahei is famous for it's (thermal springs) hot water pools that is easily accessible by digging into the beach sand during low tide.
