Too Bright

A case where a picture is just coming out way too bright! The EXIF settings look reasonable for a daytime shot, but it's very overexposed. Light leakage, perhaps?

My E550 is a little over a year old. Using the AUTO funtion my pics in sunlight come out too bright, not as bad as this but useless never the less. In Manual I have to set the asa to 80 and adust time shutter etc to get a normal pix. I just wrote FUJI about this june 16th 2006 and probably won't hear anything from them. I am a little upset that this camera has a problem so soon. $400 wasted.
