The judges perk up when a particularly good dog comes along - and this dog was amazing. Taking only a one minute and thirty seconds to herd three balky sheep through the course, the dog halved the best time of all the other dogs I had seen complete the course (something like 3:30 seemed average). The dog went on to achieve the best time for the trials, and won through to the final round. In fact the dog was so fast I missed much of the first section of the course (which had taken most previous efforts minutes to complete) by glancing down at my cameras to adjust settings!
