On October 19, 2005, Vince Mendoza conducted the Humber Faculty/Alumni Big Band at Humber College, Toronto, ON. The concert was hosted by Jazz FM's "Larry Green." The saxophone section was: Mark Promane, Andy Ballantyne, Pat LaBarbera, Alex Dean, Merlin Williams, Kirk MacDonald. The trumpet section was: Dave Dunlop, Steve McDade, Kevin Turcotte, John MacLeod, and Brian O'Kane. The trombone section was: Al Kay, Terry Promane, Kelsley Grant, and Pete Hysen. The rhythm section was: Brian Dickinson, Mike Downes, Ted Quinlan, Mark Kelso, Don Thompson and Mark Mosca.
The program consisted of the following compositions: Silhouette, Bossa Antigua, Just Say Joe, Sketches - Part 1, Sketches - Part 2, Sketches - Part 6, Sketches - Part 7, Sketches - Part 8, I Dreamt Of You, Bachianas - Part 4, Bachianas - Part 5, Bachianas - Part 6, Bachianas - Part 8, Bachianas - Part 9.
