On Saturday, April 14, 2007, I attended the opening ceremonies and mini-concerts for Canadian Idol 2007 in Toronto, ON. Eva Avila (winner of last year's Canadian Idol) performed a mini-concert and so did Katharine McPhee (runner-up from last year's American Idol). Faber Drive, a new young band from Vancouver opened the concert.
