North Ram… beautiful fall day, end up approx. 3 km downstream from White Cabin, down trail which is tricky in spots but generally passable. Must try further down someday. Go 3 for 5 in first ½ hour in 1st pool – great action on JEH Hopper, good sized, hard fighting fish. Actually have to play fish on the reel. More good action at fine pool about 2 hrs. fishing downstream – more good sized fish. In fact, don’t see a small cutt all day (48° - 50° water). Use hopper exclusively – some naturals about. Downer of the day comes when I see that beavers have felled a tree squarely across the Jimmy. Harvest time! Tagged fish – 00141, 00464, 00986?
