Meet up with Dad and Garth at this “fly-fishing ranch” SW of Chateau, Montana, primarily for some pheasant hunting, but I also sample some of the fishing at owner Hank Bouma’s stocked prairie ponds. In a couple of hours, Garth and I hook 8 fish (on backswimmer fished below the surface), land 5, up to 2 lbs.
