10 years to the day since Oilers first won Stanley Cup! Today, the spring rains (albeit badly needed) descend in earnest – slow times for flyfishers on local rivers coming up. With Robert and Charlie – take some “North West” poplars out to the cabin – Robert lands about 16” ‘er in home pool on about 5th cast! (Rises once behind log…). I manage one 14” brown on Montana Stone down from Cliff Pool – try Graf’s later on – some pteronarcys (sp?) husks about, but cold and steady light rain, river way out of shape. That’s it for fish for the day – some March Browns start to happen about 5:00….
