Robert and I head out of town at about 3:30, but no problem, it’s light now until at least 9:30.
We survey Prairie Creek from Qually’s Bridge, somewhat stained but not impossible. Check out the log cabin on Mud Creek, and note that there’s some interesting access to the Clearwater if one heads east from Highway 22 south of the Terratima Road. Robert tells me that Scammell gets into the Clearwater by taking the first w-bound road north of Dovercourt Bridge.
Off to “Old-Faithful”, the N. Raven, downstream from the Buck for Wildlife Bridge. Robert catches a little brown on his 3rd cast of the season! (#16 Adams). I go 2 for 7 in the 53° water (both on #16 Adams). Fair bit of surface insect activity, the marsh marigolds are just starting to bloom.
