First fly fishing foray of the year, and it's me and Frank checking out some old haunts out west. We leave town about 1:00 PM, and take a look at Prairie Creek, which is a bit out of shape. So, it's off to the North Raven for a few hours, where we get some modest action on streamers and Frank's little mouse pattern. No bugs to speak of. We stop off at the Raven north of Kevisville on the way home, and each manage to hook up with a good fish while swinging streamers. Home by about 9:00 PM.
