Robt. reports that things were happenin’ on the big flys yesterday! So, off to Everdell bridge by 11:00 a.m. 3 ˝ hours later, it’s been an interesting day. Hard work, but I get about a dozen shots, half a dozen hookups, incl. some nice fish, land 2, incl. a 2 pounder, all on Deer Hair Salmonfly. Get up to about winters cabin, hike out on the roads (about 45 minutes) nice weekend, clear, mostly, about 21°. River is a bit high and stained, but fishable for sure. See “fair” numbers of adult salmonflies in the air and some on the water. Best time 2:00-3:30.
