Arrive @ Jimmy Ming’s about 3:00, fish upstream. Slow till about 5:00, then catch 8 fish in the next hour, including a couple of good ones, at the “moose crossing” (nice cast!) and at the “beaver trap pool” as I’m told it’s called by Marg Mash’s bro-in-law (Bob Storey?) who among other things allows as how it’s he and his son who released the big brown (and cutthroat!) in Spring Creek. Run into Scammell & Mac Johnston fishing downstream from the next road – later learn from Robert that they were skunked. I catch a couple more near the home pool on the way out…
