Robert and I head for Burmis Lake stretch, hit the stream about 11:30. Start at big pool by old oxbow, see video of both Robert and myself landing fish (15” ‘er!). The fish are still looking for golden stones, and we’re still seeing a few egg-laying bugs on the water. More good action in the big “roadside pool” – more video. We fish to about 5:30 – notice a few PMD’s and a fair number of Green Drakes. I end up with approx. 10 fish for the day, largest being the 15” ‘er. Day started out unsettled, but turns into mostly sunning and warm. Meet Pam at the Alpine Swiss Restaurant in Pincher Creek for supper.
